The second tier of service involves conducting a workshop with employees who will be responsible for implementing the plan following a business continuity event. This usually occurs over two days during which we test the plan against hypothetical scenarios. The workshop format provides the additional advantage of helping the individuals get comfortable with executing the plan.

The third tier is conducting a full-scale business interruption simulation exercise. This includes testing the technical and logistical measures outlined in the plan, including passing the IT capability over to back-up systems and transporting employees to back-up office locations.
